Global Link is organizing its 2013 summer camp to China, traveling to Beijing. We organize camps every other year to introduce more students to China. In 2011, our students experienced a successful summer camp at Beijing Language and Culture University (BLCU).
In Beijing, students will engage in a combination of language and cultural classes, coaching sessions, daily activities, and historical and cultural tours, visiting the Great Wall, Tiananmen Square and Forbidden City. This experience is organized to enhance youth utilization and understanding of Chinese language and culture. (Note: historical and cultural site visits will vary from year to year).
Global Link strives to engage youth in opportunities and experiences that will enhance career
options and spark a lifelong interest in global learning. We ask all participants to engage in a
Chinese language and/or cultural experience prior to traveling to China with Global Link. Please inquire with Global Link for details on other language and/or cultural experience in a U.S. city near you.
Summer Camp in Beijing -
Dates: June 21 to July 14
Location: Beijing, China
Duration: 3 weeks
Ages: 8 to 18+ (College students and adults are welcome)
Camp Cost: $2500
Summer Camp: includes tuition, 2 meals daily, housing, educational and cultural activities, local transportation, and program administrative fee.
Note: Fee does not include airfare, passport, visa, international travel insurance, or spending money.
Camp Payment Deadline: May 15
Refund Policy: 80% of camp fee is refundable up to May 15

2. Short Essay: 150-250 words
3. Health Form: June 5
4. Immunization: Must have all required immunizations by June 5 (schedule appts in May)
5. Travel Insurance: May purchase group or individual travel Insurance (recommended)
6. Passport and Visa: Must allow 6-8 weeks to process passport.
Global Link can assist with visa. Students must have a passport by May 20th to process visa application.
